He has carved out a niche practice representing bankrupts and their families in taking on cases against trustees in bankruptcy, obtaining annulments of bankruptcy orders and challenging trustees and their solicitors' costs. 

Gurvir has a reputation for being tenacious and obtaining impressive results which has led him to acting for a diverse clientele ranging from the previous president of Gambia; directors of Fortune 500 companies; high net worth personalities, leading finance professionals, bankers, famous artists, leading international religious charities and his solicitor peers.  Gurvir also acts for a succession of Asian Who's Who Business and Entrepreneur Award winners.

He is known as an entrusted, no nonsense adviser and a skilled and experienced litigator.

Gurvir also undertakes commercial litigation, including property disputes and solicitors' negligence work. 

Professional Memberships

Gurvir is an active member of the insolvency community and has headed up a London-wide debt pilot project for the government as well as being a member of R3 Business Recovery and the PNLA.

Career

Gurvir graduated from the London School of Economics with a First in the Law of International Finance and worked in investment banking for Merrill Lynch. He then trained at a niche city practice, representing the Indian State banks and founded West London Law in 2003, being three years qualified at the time.

Personal

Gurvir is a competitive tennis player and enjoys health and fitness and travel.
