We routinely challenge Trustees costs by making applications to the Court to have costs properly assessed.  We write to Trustees in seeking a proper breakdown of their costs to enable us to properly advise our clients on fair amounts to be paid for the work undertaken by Trustees. 

Sometimes Trustees charge excessive amounts as the work could have been carried out by more junior members of staff and sometimes the work undertaken is not necessary.
